Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of surf coaching services provided by Elite Surf Lab (“we”, “our”, “us”). By enrolling in our training blocks, private sessions, or related activities, you (“you”, “your”, “the client”) agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Elite Surf Lab provides surf coaching programs, training blocks, and private sessions designed to develop surfing skills, fitness, and water safety.
2. Payment Policy
Training Blocks: Payment will be processed on a fortnightly basis for the duration of the block.
Private Sessions: Payment must be made in full upfront at the time of booking.
Refunds: Refunds will only be considered in circumstances beyond the participant’s control (e.g. illness, injury, or emergency), and are at the discretion of Elite Surf Lab.
3. Cancellations & Credits
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
If sufficient notice is given, a credit or make-up session will be provided.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the session will be forfeited with no refund or credit.
4. Weather & Ocean Conditions
If conditions are unsuitable for surfing, Elite Surf Lab will provide an alternative session or activity unless otherwise specified.
If a student chooses not to participate in the alternative session, no refund or credit will be issued.
There is a one week ‘buffer’ in every training block for risk of sessions not running or absent athlete.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability
Surfing and water-based activities carry inherent risks.
All participants (or their parent/guardian for minors) are required to sign an Indemnity Form acknowledging that they understand and accept these risks.
Elite Surf Lab does not accept responsibility for injury, accident, or death except where required by law.
6. Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must have all paperwork, including the Indemnity Form and Consent Form, completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian before participating.
7. Code of Conduct
All clients must adhere to the Code of Conduct, which is signed during onboarding.
This includes respecting coaches, following safety instructions, and showing respect for other surfers and the environment.
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of participation, without refund.
8. Health & Safety
You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect your ability to safely participate.
You are responsible for ensuring your own fitness and health are suitable for surf coaching activities.
9. Insurance
Elite Surf Lab holds appropriate insurance; however, participation is at your own risk.
You are encouraged to have personal accident, travel, or health insurance as appropriate.
10. Changes to Terms
Elite Surf Lab reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will be made available upon request and will apply from the date of publication.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

By enrolling in Elite Surf Lab services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
