Privacy Policy

Elite Surf Lab (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the athletes, clients, and individuals (“you”, “your”) whose personal and payment information we collect in the course of our surf coaching services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information, how we protect it, your rights, and how you can contact us about privacy matters.

1. Scope & Legal Basis

  • We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) when dealing with personal information, insofar as the law applies to our business.

  • If we handle health or medical information, or if other specific laws apply in certain circumstances, additional obligations may arise under New South Wales privacy laws.

  • Other information necessary to deliver coaching services safely and effectively

3. Why We Collect It

We collect your personal and payment information for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Providing surf coaching services to you

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

If required by law, we may disclose information in response to lawful requests (e.g. court orders).

7. Cross-Border Disclosure

If your personal information is transferred outside Australia (for example, as part of Stripe’s operations or cloud storage), we will ensure that such overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the Privacy Act and the APPs.

8. Your Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
