Waves must be surfed between 26th March and 31 August.

Waves must be surfed between Kurnell Point and Garie Beach.

Open to Sutherland Shire residents only. The same wave can be entered across multiple categories.

Tow-in and paddle-in waves are both considered in this competition. Judges will apply a higher weighting to paddle-in waves in recognition of the raw commitment and elevated risk.
The variety of waves offered in Cronulla doesn't suit a wave height criteria. All elements of a wave will be considered - height, thickness, technicality & shallowness
You will be judged on your commitment and wave riding skill. Key components are:
- Commitment to the drop
- Technicality of the ride (steps, backwash, foam balls)
- Barrel ride (depth, technicality, length)
- Making the wave (or not)
We will accept photos, however videos tell a better story for the judges.
